Support Local Bird and Nature Conservation Programs

All our programs and activities are delivered 100% by volunteers. However, we have hard costs for maintaining the two bird sanctuary properties that we own.

We need your support now more than ever to meet expenses for insurance, professional fees, warden fees, and other on going expenses.

We strive to serve bird-watchers and conservationists in Putnam and southern Dutchess Counties by providing exciting monthly birding field trips, professional-level library programs, public educational programs for adults and children, educational scholarships, and quarterly newsletters.

We maintain two wildlife sanctuaries: the Reese Sanctuary in New Hamburg and deRham Watergrass Sanctuary in Philipstown. Both are open 365 days a year for hiking, bird watching, and other low-impact nature pursuits.
