Join Putnam Highlands Audubon Society for our annual spring dinner, scheduled for March 23 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Taconic Outdoor Education Center—always a wonderful time to see old and new friends and support your local conservation society.
Schedule of events:
- Indoor/outdoor (with heaters) social hour with appetizers by B&L Deli
- Silent auction and raffle of Vortex Diamondback HD 8x42 binoculars
- Annual remarks from the president and featured speakers
- Buffet dinner by TOEC
- Desserts by Red Door Baking Company
This year’s featured speakers are Julian Batista, who will present “Wintering Warblers in the Northeast,” and Arabella Pajoohi, who will present “Grassland Birds: Who Are They, Why They Matter, and How We Can Protect Them.” Julian and Arabella are both members of New York State Young Birders Club, a special project of the New York State Ornithological Society that supports birders between the ages of 10 and 19 in New York State.
